Strange Bedfellows: Hudson ambles through another domestic mix-up comedy, this one with spicy Gina and lots of dry humor. This movie is light amusement that was filmed in London. Cast includes Rock Hudson, Gina LolIobrigida, Gig Young, Terry Thomas, and Nancy Kulp. (98 minutes, 1965)

Day Watch: Weak, perplexing, and endless continuation to Night Watch in which the powers of the “light” and the “dark” are at it once more. After being framed, Anton (Khabensky) tries to spare himself and his child from wicked powers in post-apocalyptic Russia. Cast includes Konstantin Khabensky, Mariya poroshina, Vladimir Menshov, Galina Tyunina, and Viktor Verzhbitsky. (132 minutes, 2006)

The Lawyer: Energetic tale loosely based on the renowned Dr. Sam Sheppard murder case. Newman is a stubborn youthful barrister guarding physician implicated of killing his spouse, fighting lawful procedure and uncooperative judge. Bootmen: Novice director Perry (of the dance group Tap Mutts) used his own background to develop this toe tapping film of a youthful gentleman’s escape into big-time show business- and then back once more as he rallies his blue collar tap-dancing cronies to build his own modern-day dance show. Leadbelly: Poignant biography of the legendary folksinger Huddie Ledbetter, master of the twelve string guitar and long time convict on the Texas and Louisiana chain gangs. Cast includes Roger E.
