Predictions for the NJ Nets

The New Jersey Nets (maybe the New York Nets shortly) concluded the 08′-09′ regular year with a 34-48 season. The Nets weren’t a successful franchise on the road or at home either because they had losing records no matter where they played.

The Nets had been 19th in scoring & 17th in scoring defense.

The Nets leading offensive player was Devin Harris at 21.3 points per night who had an exceptional year. Harris has become 1 of the top point guards in the Eastern Conference.

Harris has spent most of his career with the Dallas Mavericks – the Mavs probably have regrets about trading him elsewhere since he is youthful and has improved his scoring average every season. The Nets did lose Vince Carter – who now plays with the Orlando Magic. Carter had a enormous role in helping the team reach the NBA Championship in 03′.

The Nets are in the process of rebuilding their franchise. There happen to be scores questions that must be answered before the Nets to turn into a force in the East yet again. Will they relocate to Brooklyn?

Might they find a new stadium some time soon? Could they sign a high profile free agent (Lebron James)? This is surely a growth stage for the Nets.

The Nets do have some great, jovial athletes they can nurture & hope someday they turn into greatly great or even exceptional players – Chris Douglas-Roberts, Brook Lopez, and Terrence Williams.

Not a lot is anticipated from the New Jersey Nets this year – they have one greatly good competitor in Devin Harris & the rest are just mediocre so far. Most might expect the Nets end up winning the same number of games this season too, 32-35 diversity.

Hopefully, the Nets hold onto Devin Harris for the long term & eventually sign a free agent to help the Nets to an NBA Finals.
