Despite all the success Margaret is soaking in, she faces an unfamiliar situation of deportation. She might have to go back to Canada which would literally mean the end of her career as an editor.

To find a solution to this problem as fast as possible, Margaret resorts to everything she can think of. She finally finds an answer. She makes a declaration that Andrew is her fianc. Meanwhile, Andrew has no clue what Margaret is trying to do. Though Andrew cannot stand Margaret, he decides to go along. We later find out that he agreed to this in order to get the editors post as a return favor.

Like any lawfully abiding citizen, they must go through an interviewing process to make the engagement official. This part of the movie was my favorite as it was funny and engaging. The interviewer cautions the so called couple of consequences of fake marriages and he also scares the wits out of them when he asks questions pertaining to their relationship.

They go there meaning to spend some quality time with Andrews parents. But due to parental pressure and circumstances, they end up getting married! Here onwards, the movie follows the classic rom-com script.

The chemistry between the lead pair is often the highlight in any Romantic comedy. As Andrew and Margaret, the lead pair sizzles on screen. Be it the intense hate scenes or the delicate romantic ones, the pair pulls it off with lan. The romantic scenes are actually a little funny in nature and thus their chemistry tends to fade a tad bit. Overall, they are a pair to watch out for!
